Beta terms of use

Terms for using TariffCalc.

Effective July 27, 2026 · Terms version 2026-07-27-design-fonts

Agreement and beta scope

By using TariffCalc or creating an account, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. The Release 1.0 acceptance candidate is a decision-support beta. Billing, paid subscriptions, service-level commitments and production commercial contracts are not active in the supplied release.

Estimates, not customs determinations

TariffCalc provides informational estimates from the inputs and supported source rules shown with a result. It is not a customs broker, law firm, binding ruling service, entry filer or government authority. A result is not legal, tax, customs or filing advice.

You are responsible for classification, customs value, origin, eligibility facts, entry date and filing treatment. Review the tariff disclaimer before relying on any estimate.

Pricing hypotheses and commercial interest

Prices shown on the current pricing page are market-validation hypotheses, not an active offer for sale. Submitting commercial interest records pre-billing qualification information only. It does not create a subscription, contract, payment obligation, reservation, service-level commitment or guarantee of access. TariffCalc does not request or process card or bank details in this release.

Controlled pilot

A pilot application does not guarantee access. Invitations are personal, expire automatically and may be withdrawn. Pilot participants may submit workflow feedback, but feedback does not create a customs advisory relationship or silently alter calculation rules.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep access credentials confidential.
  • Use a unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Do not share an account in a way that bypasses workspace limits or security controls.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • interfere with service security, availability or data integrity;
  • attempt unauthorized access, automated credential testing or abusive scraping;
  • misrepresent a TariffCalc estimate as a binding ruling, broker quote or government filing;
  • use the service to facilitate unlawful activity; or
  • remove source, warning, version or limitation information from a shared result in a misleading way.

Security reporting

Suspected vulnerabilities may be reported through the published support channel. Do not send live credentials, private keys, destructive exploit payloads or unrelated customer data. The existence of a reporting channel does not create a bug bounty, safe-harbor promise, response-time commitment or authorization to access systems or data beyond what the law and your existing access permit.

Official data and availability

Government sources, tariff measures and fee amounts can change. TariffCalc may correct, replace, suspend or withdraw a calculation rule or data release when integrity or freshness cannot be confirmed. The beta is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability.

No warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available.” TariffCalc does not warrant that every tariff, exclusion, trade remedy, fee, tax, quota, preference or product fact is included, or that an estimate will match a government assessment.

Limitation and suspension

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TariffCalc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from use of a beta estimate. Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, official data integrity or service security.

Changes and contact

A material change will receive a new effective date. The legal entity name, governing jurisdiction, tax treatment, paid-service terms, billing terms and any service-level commitments must be supplied and reviewed before payment collection is enabled; this beta does not invent them. Questions may be sent to support@tariffcalc.com.
